Advanced Tips for Partners

As you progress through your journey with Xero, it can be helpful to learn more about advanced features to set your practice up for success. Whether you are looking for more ways to save time, tips you can share with clients, or how to get the most out of the Xero App Marketplace our Education team is here to help.

If you are short on time, you can take a peek below for three of our top time saving tips.

Work smarter, not harder

  1. Gather client information with Xero Ask: Send questions to your clients using Xero Ask. You can create templates for year-end questionnaires and client surveys. You can also see up-to-date responses, and gather information via a secure portal.
  2. A faster way to group accounts in reports: When editing a report, hold the Ctrl or Command key, while clicking, to select multiple accounts. Choose Group Selection to group all the selected accounts in bulk on your reports.
  3. Page breaks: Add page breaks in your financial reports to keep related information on one page, or to split information into separate pages.
