Our highlights from the NZ Roadshow so far
The team has been on the road for over six weeks and we’ve enjoyed every minute meeting accountants, bookkeepers and small businesses.
Here are some milestones so far:
- Over 2,000 partners have attended the Roadshow so far.
- We’ve met over 800 SMBs at our small business evening sessions.
- We’ve covered over 18,000 km2 of New Zealand to date.
- We’ve served over 4,000 freshly brewed coffees
During the day sessions, our accounting and bookkeeping audiences have gained valuable knowledge that will help them to be more efficient. We’ve heard giggles of agreement and of course some oooh’s and aaah’s from the audience – our favourite part! It’s been awesome to see the audience engage in discussion and share learnings with each other.

A highlight so far is the Agri Breakfast we hosted in New Plymouth. We had an awesome panel of speakers from Xero, Paysauce, BNZ, ASB and ANZ. Following the theme of this year’s Roadshows, Communities of Purpose, the rural banking panel discussed the concept of farmers being “bank ready”. Panelists shared their insight as to what would aid in a successful new application or an ongoing banking relationship.
We’ll be hosting Agri Breakfasts in Timaru, Dunedin and Invercargill so if you’d like to come along, register online.
Meanwhile, our ‘ask me anything’ station has been absolutely buzzing with questions. The team have helped hundreds of SMBs with anything from custom reports to payroll. There have even been some hugs of appreciation!
We’ve had lots of laughs wrapping up each day with our brand new buzzer game. You don’t want to miss this as we test how well you know accounting to win one of our sustainable prizes.
At the small business evening sessions, we’ve greeted lots of business owners who are eager to learn how they can get the most out of Xero. We loved meeting those who are just kicking off their small business, starting their journey with Xero.
We’ve had countless fun times with everyone on the road, so thank you for coming to see us.
