Migrating your practice can be a daunting thought but it doesn’t need to be. Join our conversion experts as we break down the nitty gritty of practice migration and the support available on your migration journey.

After working with thousands of practices, our experts have identified a four stage rollout as best practice when migrating to Xero, giving you the best recipe for success.

How to migrate your practice

The first stage of the roll out focuses on preparing your financial statements in Xero for both your Xero and non-Xero clients, including how we set you up for successful migration.

In stage two, you’ll start looking at Xero Tax and Xero Practice Manager (XPM), which are the tools that will help manage all your tax needs, job workflow and billing for your practice.

Once you’ve mastered stages one and two, you’re ready to start learning more about the third party apps available in the Xero App Marketplace. These apps will supercharge your practice’s workflow and help play a crucial role in managing your practices’ documents once you’ve migrated. The last stage is introducing Workpapers into your workflow.

Now we know a migration may come with some hiccups, so our experts will also touch on

common mistakes that are made during a conversion. We will also explain how to overcome common mistakes, helping to make your migration successful and pain-free.
